Grove City is a fast-growing Columbus suburb in southwestern Franklin County, named for the groves of trees settlers left standing in the 1850s. Its identity rests on a walkable historic Town Center, local festivals and a brewery-and-winery scene.
Grove City life revolves around its walkable Town Center, its festivals and its brewery-and-winery scene, which keeps a suburban calendar full. Distance sessions let a Grove City resident receive a Reiki attunement or flower essences from home, without adding another stop to a southwest-side Columbus routine.
Beulah Park gives Grove City its deepest local story, because it was Ohio's first thoroughbred racetrack and its legacy lives on. The name Grove City goes back to the 1850s, when settlers cleared the land and left groves of trees standing. That tradition of keeping the trees is why the city carries the name it does today. The registered brand slogan, Altogether Adventure, sums up a community where the historic Town Center invites a walk between festivals. Distance sessions with Rev. Michael Allison suit that rhythm, since a Grove City resident receives each one remotely, with no office to visit.
