That request is made by Meta's script, not by ours.We use three advertising tags: the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), the Pinterest Tag, and the Google tag, which carries Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. In your browser they collect the pages you visit, the products you view, add to your cart and buy, order values, cookie identifiers, your IP address and basic browser and device details. When you complete an order, our server also sends Meta and Pinterest the order value, the products bought, your IP address, your browser details, their cookie identifiers and a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address.
We use this to measure whether our ads work and to show our products to people who may be interested, including people who have visited this site before. Under some US state privacy laws, this counts as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising, or as a "sale". You can opt out as described below.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. The card fields on our checkout page are hosted by Stripe, so your card details are sent to Stripe rather than typed into a form of ours. We receive the order details and the result of the payment.
Order confirmations, replies and newsletters are sent from our own mail server at prismaticflowers.com and through Postmark, an email delivery service.
If you type your email address at checkout and do not finish the order, the site can send you a reminder about the items still in your cart. After a purchase we may also send one request for a product review. Marketing and newsletter emails carry an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to take you off any list at any time by writing to info@prismaticflowers.com.
