Streamwood is a planned postwar suburb, built almost overnight in the 1950s on former dairy-farm land known as Hoosier Grove. Builders marketed it to returning veterans as a Town of Tomorrow, and it grew from scattered farms into a village of roughly 40,000.
Streamwood sits about 29 miles northwest of Chicago's Loop, which makes a session by distance a natural fit for a household here. Sessions happen in your own Streamwood home, so no one adds a stop to the day or leaves the village.
The name Hoosier Grove still carries weight in Streamwood, because it first belonged to the dairy farms that stood here before the 1950s. Today the village still celebrates its farm roots at Hoosier Grove Park, decades after the builders arrived. Streamwood shares the Tri-Village area with Bartlett and Hanover Park, yet its own story began with a builder pitch to returning veterans. Prismatic Flower Essences honors that grounded history by offering flower essences, aura sprays, and Reiki attunements to Streamwood households entirely by distance.
