Womb Healing: What the Session Is, and What It Is Not
This is one of the sessions people ask about in a lowered voice, usually after asking about something else first. That tells you it needs a clear, unembarrassed description more than it needs poetic language, so this article leads with the boundaries rather than burying them at the bottom.
Start With What It Is Not
Womb healing is not medical care and it is not gynecological care. It does not diagnose anything, it does not treat any condition, and it has nothing to say about fertility, conception, pregnancy, loss, cycles, pain or any diagnosis you may be carrying.
That is not legal throat clearing, it is the actual boundary. This area of wellness attracts some genuinely irresponsible claims, and women dealing with fertility difficulty or reproductive illness are among the most targeted people in the whole industry. If you are dealing with any of that, your doctor or midwife is your care, full stop. Nothing in a session at Prismatic Flower Essences sits between you and them, and Rev. Michael will tell you the same thing directly if you ask.
You do not need a womb, or a functioning one, or any particular history, to sit for this session. Plenty of people who book it have had a hysterectomy, or are past menopause, or are not women.
What It Actually Is
It is energy work with its attention held on the lower body and the sacral area, done fully clothed and with the same shape as any other session here. You lie down, the practitioner works with hands on or near you, and nothing is asked of you.
The reason this particular focus exists as its own session is emotional rather than anatomical. The lower body is where a great many people carry things they have never put into words. Grief that had no funeral. Anger that was never safe to have. Shame that was handed to them by somebody else and kept. Whether you frame that as energy held in the sacral center or simply as the body storing what the mind filed away, the practical experience is similar and it does not require you to believe any particular model.
Who Books It
In practice, three groups. People coming out of a long chapter, whether that is a relationship, a diagnosis, a treatment or an era of their life, who want to mark it. People who have done inner child work or ancestral work and found this is where the material seems to sit. And people who simply hold tension there and have never had anyone pay it any attention.
What Tends to Come Up
More than people expect, and often not what they came for. It is worth knowing that going in.
Sessions focused here have a way of surfacing something older than the thing you booked about. That is not a failure of the session and it is not a sign that something is wrong with you. It does mean it is worth leaving space in the day afterward rather than going straight back to work, and it is worth having somewhere for it to go if it turns out to be large. That may be a follow up, your own practice, or a therapist. All three are reasonable and the third is not an admission of anything.
Afterward
People often want something to work with in the weeks after, rather than only in the hour itself. An intuitive consultation suits this well, because it reads what is actually present rather than asking you to describe it, and describing it is exactly the hard part when the feeling has not found words yet.
Sessions are arranged through the contact page. You do not need to explain much to book, and you do not need to have decided what it is about.
