Canadian clients have an advantage almost nobody else on this site has, and it is worth saying first: Toronto and Michigan keep the same clock. Prismatic Flower Essences is based in Metro Detroit, a short drive from the Windsor border, so for a great many Canadians this is a neighboring practice that simply happens to meet you on a screen. Distance Reiki, flower essence consultations and online attunements are all offered across the country, from Halifax to Vancouver, without anyone crossing a border.

Toronto Time Is Our Time

Ontario and Quebec share Eastern Time with us, so for clients in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal there is no arithmetic at all: the hour you book is the hour we keep, every day of the year, including the weekends when the clocks change. Further west the gap opens up in the ordinary way, an hour at a time through Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton, until Vancouver sits three hours behind us. Canada spans six clock offsets across twenty three zone definitions, more than any other country served from this page, so a national booking list is really six booking lists.

• Online Reiki Attunements & Courses. Delivered as instant digital access, which sidesteps customs, cross border shipping and the wait that usually comes with both.
• Inner Child, Ancestral & Past-Lives Sessions (virtual). Deeper work, held in one extended sitting rather than squeezed into a lunch hour, for tracing a pattern to its root.
• Intuitive Guidance Sessions (virtual). A quiet, reflective hour for a decision you have been carrying around for a while.

The Border Still Applies to Bottles

Being close by does not change the shipping rule. Custom blends, botanical skincare and aura sprays are sent to United States addresses only and are not shipped into Canada. Work in the room itself is Metro Detroit only, just over the Michigan side of the border. The virtual side of the practice has no such limit and is the same service a client in Michigan receives.

Where Our Canadian Clients Are

Clients join from Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Winnipeg and Halifax, and from a good many smaller places in between. Because the country is wide rather than tall, the practical question is almost never distance and almost always which of the six offsets your town keeps.

The Canadian Calendar We Book Around

Canada keeps a public calendar that changes as you move across it. The third Monday of February is Family Day in some provinces, Louis Riel Day in Manitoba, Islander Day on Prince Edward Island and Heritage Day elsewhere, all on the same date under four different names. Quebec marks the Fete nationale on the twenty fourth of June, the day after National Aboriginal Day. The first Monday of August carries at least six provincial names, and the thirtieth of September is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Culturally the year is punctuated by the Calgary Stampede in July, the Toronto Caribbean Carnival around the same long weekend, the Montreal International Jazz Festival at the turn of June, and the Quebec Winter Carnival in the depths of winter.
