Simi Valley is a suburban city in southeastern Ventura County, set in a valley ringed by the Santa Susana and Simi Hills. It sits about 40 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles, and locals simply call it Simi. The Simi Valley Acorn reports FBI-data rankings that frequently place it among America's safest cities for its size.
A suburban city of homes in a hill-ringed valley suits remote sessions well, since nothing requires leaving your street. Essences and aura sprays ship to your door in Simi Valley, so the whole experience stays inside your own home. Distance Reiki attunements happen on a schedule that fits your household, with no commute across Ventura County or toward Los Angeles required.
The name Simi comes from the Chumash word Shimiji, which describes the thin, thread-like clouds that drift over the valley. During much of the 20th century, the rugged canyons around Simi Valley doubled as Hollywood's backlot Old West for the movies. Today the city is best known as the home and burial site of President Ronald Reagan. That mix of Chumash naming, film-set history and presidential legacy gives Simi Valley a layered character that belongs to this valley alone. Rev. Michael Allison sends flower essences and aura sprays to Simi Valley and offers Reiki attunements entirely by distance.
