Inside Our Starlight Healing Soundbath: An Evening of Sound Healing in Madison Heights
Last night the candles were lit, the bowls were singing, and for one hour nobody in the room remembered they had a phone. That is the closest thing to a one-line summary of our Starlight Healing Soundbath, and it is also the reason people keep coming back.
Our soundbaths are held at Crimson Commuter in Madison Heights, Michigan, and each one is built to do a single thing well: give your nervous system a real rest. In a world of constant notifications, an hour of pure sound is not a luxury. It is maintenance for your mind and body.
What a Sound Bath Actually Is
A sound bath is a guided session where you lie down, get comfortable, and let layers of sound wash over you. You do not have to do anything. There is no posture to hold and no technique to learn. You simply receive.
The "bath" part is the point. The sound surrounds you the way warm water would, and your only job is to settle in and let it carry you somewhere quieter.
What Last Night Included
Every Starlight Healing Soundbath layers several healing tools into one experience:
- Singing bowls - the deep, sustained tones that give a sound bath its name.
- Native flutes - warm, organic melodies that soften the space between the bowls.
- Essential oils - gentle aromatherapy to settle the body before the sound begins.
- Crystals - placed to support the energy of the room, including pieces from Quantum Balance Crystals.
- Reiki - hands-on and distance energy healing woven through the session.
- Cosmic healing discs - for an added layer of vibrational support. We use the handmade Pleiadian Cosmic Healing Discs.
Together, these turn a simple hour into something genuinely restorative. Guests often describe the feeling afterward as lighter, clearer, and unusually calm.

Why People Keep Coming Back
Rest is the rarest thing most of us get. A soundbath gives you permission to stop - no screen, no to-do list, no decisions. For one hour, the only thing asked of you is to lie still and listen.
That is why our seats fill the way candles burn down: quietly, then all at once.
