Money Blocks Are Emotional: The Flower Essences People Reach For Around Money
You quoted the job at half what you meant to say out loud. You have not opened the banking app in nine days. You got the raise and inside a month the account looked exactly as it did before.
None of that is a maths problem. You already know the numbers. The gap sits somewhere between knowing what to do and being able to do it, and that gap is emotional territory, which is where flower essences actually live.
Before anything else, the honest sentence that most writing on this subject refuses to put in print.
A Flower Essence Will Not Put Money in Your Account
It will not. Nothing in a dropper bottle produces income. There is no mechanism by which water that has held a flower changes your invoicing, your rate, your debts or your hiring decisions.
This is also not financial advice, and I am not qualified to give any. If you are in genuine difficulty, behind on payments, or dealing with collections, the people to talk to are a nonprofit credit counselor or a qualified financial professional, and that call is worth more than every bottle on my shelf put together.
What I sell, and what I will describe accurately, is emotional support for the pattern that keeps repeating around money. That is a real and useful thing, and it is a smaller thing than the internet usually promises.
What a Money Block Usually Turns Out to Be
When people describe this to me, it almost always resolves into one of a handful of specific states. They are not interchangeable and the difference matters.
- Undercharging. You say a number that is lower than the one in your head, then feel relieved, then feel resentful about three weeks later.
- Avoidance. The envelope stays unopened. The app stays unchecked. The spreadsheet exists and is never looked at.
- Guilt about wanting more. Often inherited, often from a household where money was tight and wanting was treated as a character flaw.
- The same decision, repeated. The same kind of client, the same kind of purchase, the same February.
- Not trusting your own call. You ask five people what to charge and take the lowest answer.
- Not feeling entitled to good things. Money arrives and something in you gets busy arranging for it to leave.
Look at that list honestly and pick the one that is actually yours. That is the whole exercise, and you can do it without buying anything.
The Flowers the Tradition Uses for Those States
A flower essence is water carrying the energetic pattern of a flower, with no essential oil, no herb and no plant material in the bottle. Dr. Edward Bach developed the best known set of thirty-eight of them in England in the 1930s, and several of them describe the states above with uncomfortable accuracy.
- Centaury is the traditional essence for the person who cannot say no and who serves others at their own cost. In a money context that is the undercharging flower, and it is the one I point at most often.
- Cerato is traditionally associated with not trusting your own judgment and polling everyone around you instead.
- Chestnut Bud is traditionally associated with repeating an experience without absorbing what it taught you.
- Tansy is traditionally associated with inertia and avoidance, the flower for the thing you are not doing.
- Crab Apple is traditionally the cleansing essence, associated with feeling unclean or unworthy of good things.
- Pine is traditionally associated with guilt and self-blame.
- Cayenne is traditionally a catalyst, associated with breaking a stagnation that has gone on long enough.
- Mullein is traditionally associated with the inner voice and with acting in line with what you actually believe.
The Blends, With Their Actual Ingredient Lists
Money Magnet
Money Magnet Flower Essence Blend (1 oz.) is $33.00 and contains brandy, distilled water, Cayenne Flower Essence, Crab Apple Flower Essence, Gold Gem Essence, and Orange Color Light Elixir.
The name is a name. What the formula is actually built from is Cayenne for stagnation and Crab Apple for the sense of not being worthy of good things. Read that way, this is a blend about inertia and self-worth, and that is a far more useful description than the label implies.
Un-Sabotage
Un-Sabotage Flower Essence Blend (1 oz.) is $33.00 and contains brandy, distilled water, Tansy Flower Essence, Chestnut Bud Flower Essence, Mullein Flower Essence, and Green Color Light Elixir.
Avoidance, repetition and the inner voice. If your pattern is the same February every year, or the same kind of client you swore you would stop taking, this is the formula that matches it most closely. It is the one I would hand most people before I handed them Money Magnet.
Manifesting
Manifesting Flower Essence Blend (1 oz.) is $33.00 and contains brandy, distilled water, Pine Flower Essence, Walnut Flower Essence, Gold Gem Essence, Platinum Gem Essence, and Orange Color Light Elixir.
Pine for guilt and Walnut for transition, which is a specific and interesting pair. Walnut is traditionally called the link breaker, the essence for holding your own direction while familiar people pull you back toward the familiar. Anyone who has tried to raise their rates inside a family that considers ambition rude will recognize why those two flowers sit in the same bottle.
I Am Worthy
I Am Worthy Flower Essence Blend (1 oz.) is $33.00 and contains brandy, distilled water, Cosmos Flower Essence, Golden Yarrow Flower Essence, Centaury Flower Essence, and Red Color Light Elixir.
This is the only blend I make that contains Centaury, so if your pattern is undercharging, saying yes when you meant no, or doing the extra work for free, this is the bottle that carries the flower for it. Golden Yarrow sits alongside it for the sensitivity of being visible, which is the other half of asking for money.
I Am Capable
I Am Capable Flower Essence Blend (1 oz.) is $33.00 and contains brandy, distilled water, Scleranthus Flower Essence, Mountain Pride Flower Essence, Cerato Flower Essence, and Orange Color Light Elixir.
Scleranthus for swinging between two options, Cerato for not trusting your own judgment, Mountain Pride for standing behind a decision. That is the blend for the person who has asked nine people what to charge and is now more confused than when they started.
A Spray for the Desk
The Abundance Aura Spray (4 oz.) is $37.00 and contains distilled water, grain alcohol, a preservative, Basil Essential Oil, Lemon Essential Oil, Basil Flower Essence, Citrine Gem Elixir, Orange Color Light Elixir, structured water, solarized water and sea salt. Unlike the drops it is scented, because of the two essential oils.
The sensible use is as a marker rather than as a wish. Mist the corners of the room before you do the thing you have been avoiding, which is usually sending the invoice, opening the statement, or writing the number down. The spray is not doing the work. It is the starting gun.
The Practice That Goes Around the Bottle
An essence works inside a life, so here is the unglamorous part that carries most of the weight:
- Look at the number once a week, at a fixed time. Avoidance shrinks when the looking is scheduled rather than decided.
- Write your rate down before the conversation. Say the written number. Do not improvise it in the room.
- Add a pause before you discount. One breath, then answer. Most undercharging happens in the half second where silence feels unbearable.
- Find out whose voice it is. When the guilt arrives, ask who taught you that. It is usually a specific person and often one who meant well.
- Track one number for a quarter. Anything. Invoices sent, or offers made. What gets counted gets noticed.
- Let money stay. If it always leaves within a week, that is a pattern with a shape and it is worth looking at directly.
Doing It in a Room With Other People
Some of this is easier out loud and in company than alone with a bottle. The Money Elixir Workshop on November 5, 2026 in Madison Heights is $33.00, and it is a hands-on evening rather than a lecture.
If you want several of these blends on the shelf at once, the Emotional Support Flower Essence Set at $125.00 is five full 1 oz. bottles, and its catalog description lists Money Magnet and Un-Sabotage among them.
Where These Are Made
I make these blends here in Madison Heights, Michigan, in Oakland County, and I am a Certified Flower Essence Practitioner. Most people who write to me about money arrive asking for Money Magnet and leave with I Am Worthy, because the pattern turned out to be undercharging rather than inertia.
A Flower Essence Consultation is $97.00, and working out which of the six states is actually yours is the part that makes the difference.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will a flower essence bring me money?
No. Nothing in a bottle produces income, and this is not financial advice. Flower essences are used for emotional balance and personal reflection, and around money that means the guilt, the avoidance, the undercharging and the repeated decision. If you are in real financial difficulty, speak to a nonprofit credit counselor or a qualified financial professional.
Which blend should I start with?
Start from your pattern, not from the product name. If you undercharge or cannot say no, I Am Worthy is the only blend I make that contains Centaury. If you avoid and repeat, Un-Sabotage carries Tansy and Chestnut Bud. If you feel stuck and unworthy of good things, Money Magnet carries Cayenne and Crab Apple.
Why is a blend called Money Magnet if it does not attract money?
The name is the product name and the formula is the honest description. What is actually in the bottle is Cayenne Flower Essence for stagnation and Crab Apple Flower Essence for feeling unworthy of good things, with Gold Gem Essence and Orange Color Light Elixir. Reading the ingredients rather than the label is the better way to choose from any catalog, including mine.
Can I take more than one of these at once?
You can, and many people do, but you will learn less. One blend at a time for two to four weeks lets you attribute any change. Practitioners generally suggest keeping a personal combination to five or six flowers so it stays focused.
How long before I notice anything?
Two to four weeks of daily use at four drops three times a day in a glass of water. Judge it by behavior rather than by mood. Did you say the written number out loud? Did you open the statement on the day you said you would? Those are answerable questions and a feeling is not.
Is the workshop a sales pitch?
No. The Money Elixir Workshop is a hands-on evening in Madison Heights where you make something and talk about the pattern in a room with other people who have it too. It is $33.00 and you leave with what you made.
Is yours undercharging, avoidance, or guilt?
Three different patterns, three different flowers. Tell me which one you recognize and I will point you at the right bottle instead of the popular one.
