Flower Essences 101: What Is Actually Inside the Course

People ask what the course covers far more often than they enroll in it, which usually means the description is doing a poor job. So here is the structure, plainly.

Ten Modules, Fifty Eight Lessons

Flower Essences 101 is built as ten modules holding fifty eight lessons between them. That ratio matters more than the totals. Lessons are short, because the subject is one where a twenty minute video followed by a week of forgetting is worse than five minutes you actually sit with. It is pitched at beginner level, which in practice means it assumes you have heard of flower essences and nothing beyond that.

It is self paced. There is no cohort, no start date and nothing that expires out from under you if life gets busy in the middle.

The Quiz and the Certificate, Described Honestly

There is a quiz at the end, drawn from a bank of twenty questions, and a certificate issued on completion.

Here is the part most course pages will not say. That certificate is a record that you completed this course. It is not a professional license, it is not a governing body credential, and it does not qualify you to practice on other people in any regulated sense. Nobody is accredited by taking it. What it does is give you a structured, finished body of knowledge and something to show for the work, which for most people learning this is exactly what they wanted.

If somebody tells you a weekend certificate makes them a clinician, the certificate is not the problem, they are.

Who Actually Finishes It

Two kinds of people, in about equal measure.

The first already owns essences. They bought two or three, felt something worth paying attention to, and got tired of choosing by reading the same product descriptions over and over. A course fixes that permanently in a way that another bottle does not.

The second has no essences at all and came in through Reiki, sound baths or crystal work. They want to understand what the essences are before they spend anything, which is a completely sensible order of operations and one the shop never pushes people toward.

The people who tend not to finish are the ones hoping for a shortcut to choosing correctly for other people. That is not a course, that is years.

How It Sits Next to a Consultation

These solve different problems and it is worth being clear about which one you have.

A Flower Essence Consultation answers one question well: which essence belongs to what is happening in your life right now. You describe, Rev. Michael chooses. It is fast and specific and you do not need to understand the method for it to be useful.

The course answers a different question: how does any of this work, and how would I choose for myself next time and the time after that. It is slower and it is not aimed at your current situation at all.

Plenty of people do both, usually in that order. A consultation first because something is pressing, then the course later once the curiosity outlasts the situation that started it.

The Honest Caveat

A course teaches you a framework for working with plants and your own emotional weather. It is education, not treatment, and it does not replace medical or mental health care. Anyone teaching flower essences who is vague about that line is doing their students a disservice.

With that said, learning the material properly is the single thing that most changes how useful essences are to a person. The difference between a shelf of half used bottles and a practice is almost always understanding, not inventory.
