Waterfall Healing Reiki for Mind, Body & Spirit

Waterfall Healing Reiki was channeled by Linda Colibert in December 2008 through SpiritLight Reiki, along with all of its artwork. She describes receiving the system at a point when she had been ignoring her own wellbeing while busy caring for everyone else, and says she used it faithfully for two weeks before deciding to bring it forward for others. The system works on body, mind and spirit through the image its name carries: a waterfall rushing over the head and around the body, washing darkness and negativity away and carrying it off.

It is deliberately simple, with two closely related techniques and two symbols. The first symbol is for clearing and is drawn starting at the top with a straight line down, followed by a spiral that turns counterclockwise, moving the energies in an unwinding fashion, and the second carries the healing energies that follow. You do not need to be a Reiki Master to use it, and it can be worked on yourself, on other people, and on animals and plants.

How it is used:

The order matters. You always run the clearing energies first and follow them immediately with the healing energies. For the aura, visualise the waterfall rushing onto your head and all around your body through the outer energy fields. For the chakras and inner fields, see the energies enter through the crown and leave through the hands and feet, carrying the darkness away, then run the healing energies and see the chakras and aura whole again. The manual suggests running the energies daily for a while and then once a week to maintain the work.
