Product details

Steady, warm and close to the ground, the red vortex cone is the root chakra piece from Quantum Balance Crystals, keynote "I Will". QBC describes red as the first energy center, the one sitting closest to the earth, drawing on the ground beneath it and lending vibrant energy to every layer of the energetic field. Many people choose red when they want a physical reminder of foundation, stability and feeling at home in their own body.

Red and the root chakra

In QBC's color teaching, everything that takes form carries the life force of red. The root is where thoughts of lack and limitation are let go, so prosperity can move freely and on purpose. QBC names four themes for this cone: prosperity, vitality, grounding yourself, and feeling safe and secure. Think of the cone as a focus for those intentions, a small red sentinel that keeps them in view.

From QBC's red affirmations:

"I live life with passion and purpose"
"I am rooted and grounded in the richness of life"

Where a red cone works well

QBC suggests a cone in each of the four corners of a home or property to set a coherent field of peace, and red is a natural choice for that kind of grounding grid. It also rides well in the car, another spot on QBC's own list, as a quiet anchor for daily drives.

Two pairings follow from QBC's own words. Brown, its earth cone, sits below the root and shares red's theme of roots reaching into the ground, so the two make a sturdy base for a room or a layout. Magenta, which QBC says holds the vibration of both purple and red, links that base to the crown when you want the whole line represented.

Try this

For a short daily practice, set the cone where you can see its tip at eye level, close your eyes after a few breaths and picture red filling the space around you. QBC's red attunement adds an image worth borrowing: red roots growing from the soles of your feet into the earth. Open your eyes, look at the cone and say "I Will" once before the day starts.

Inside the cone

Per QBC: plant-based crystalline resin, a spiral copper wire running to the tip, and a hand-picked Arkansas recorder quartz crystal charged with color and love frequencies. Handmade by Quantum Balance Crystals in the USA. For $10 more, the LED cone light glows beneath the cone, offering multiple color settings and a little remote. Ships within the USA only.
