Magickal Talisman Empowerment

The Magickal Talisman Empowerment was channeled by Jay M. Burrell on the 25th of March 2011 and released on the 8th of April that year. Its subject is the talisman, which the manual defines as a spiritual tool imbued with a specific energy or magical intention, most often made for protection. Where a traditional talisman calls for a particular candle, oil, crystal and moon phase, this system replaces all of that with an etheric orb built through intention and visualization, which the manual argues can be created anywhere and at any time.

Fourteen symbols are supplied with their meanings, among them the Horned God for courage and power, the Mother Goddess for fertility and abundance, the Triple Moon for protection, the Ankh for new beginnings, the Feather of Ma'at for truth and justice, the Eye of Horus for protection from ill intent, the Splayed Hand from the Jain tradition for psychic defence, the Pentagram for the four elements, the Yin Yang for balance, the Rainbow for higher consciousness and the Om for divine connection.

The practitioner draws a pale blue beam from the godhead through the crown and heart chakras into the palms, forms the orb, then channels the chosen symbol into it. Jay M. Burrell also asks for a seven day clearing period after attunement before passing the system on, so that a teacher understands the energies before teaching them.

Close your eyes and picture yourself surrounded by open space or white light, then visualize a pale blue beam flowing from the godhead into your crown chakra, through the heart chakra and out through your palms until an orb of light forms in front of you. Channel a golden beam from your palms and heart into that orb, then bring the image of your chosen talisman symbol into it, taking a few minutes and repeating the attempt if it does not settle at once.

Place the recipient's name or a mental image of the situation into the orb before letting it dissolve back into the ethers to wait until it is accepted.
