The Magician Empowerment was founded by Maria João Sereno through Dharmasatya Workshops, with the manual dated February 2009 and translated into English by Gabriela Szafman.

It is built entirely around the first card of the Major Arcana, where the Magician represents the primary impulse, the one who captures energy and directs it, the channel through which divine energy passes into the material world, and the manual pairs him with the Hebrew letter Aleph, which begins the group of sounds and stands for a potential not yet realised. The symbol of the system is the Leminiscata, the infinity sign that appears in the Magician's own illustration.

The founder sets out plainly what the energies are for, naming ease in reaching goals, creativity, better communication, determination and willpower, awareness and the transformation of situations. She also notes the one limit that matters: the Magician's only barrier is his imagination, and the system was created for the highest good of all creatures and blocked against misuse. Reiki second level is the stated prerequisite, since the practice uses Cho-Ku-Rei and, at a distance, Hon-Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen.

How it is used:

You ground first and ask your guides for support and protection, then sit or lie comfortably with a cleansed pointed quartz crystal in your right hand. With the crystal you draw the infinity symbol over the crown chakra, place the Magician card on the sexual chakra, and say Om three times, breathing slowly. Holding the crystal in front of the third eye, you visualize the area of life you want to give a new impulse and project into it everything you intend to see accomplished, then draw Cho-Ku-Rei into the crystal and say Om three more times.

The crystal is kept where nobody else can handle it, put out in the sun when possible and used daily, and the energies are activated by holding it in your right hand and saying "Activate the Magician Empowerment." When your goal is reached, the crystal is cleansed again in sea salt water for twenty-four hours.
