The Celtic Wisdom Energy System, also called Anam Cara, was channeled and created by Steve Malcolm to celebrate the energies of the summer solstice of 2003. It is built around ten symbols drawn from Celtic and sacred imagery, each with its own purpose and its own way of being drawn.

They are the Power Symbol, a triple goddess knot with a spiral that increases the flow; Gift from the Goddess, received in a vision of two goddesses with a lotus opening above their heads near Croft Moraig, the field of Mary in Perthshire, Scotland; the Great Sun Cross, which joins the energies of god and goddess for divine balance; the Eye of Providence for protection and balance; the Tree of Life, seen by the Celts as a mirror of the cosmos and used for grounding; the Chalice Well for feminine energies and tranquillity; the Claddha, which links the crown chakra to the heart centre for unconditional love; the Holy Dove, which connects the eighth chakra to the crown; Dagda's Harp, whose eight strings align the eight chakras used in the work; and Yelan, the gold master symbol of perfect geometry and balance.

The system is worked in that fixed order, with the master symbol seen in gold inside the Violet Breath. The manual closes with the author's thanks to his teachers Linda Jean Horton and Kerrille Wharton.
