Wylie is a fast-growing city northeast of Dallas, and its diverse suburban population topped 57,000 residents in the 2020 count. Its nickname, Wide Awake Wylie, suits a community that has become one of the region's booming suburbs.
With households spread across Wylie's suburban neighborhoods, an at-home session removes the need to fit an appointment into a busy week. Essences and aura sprays arrive by mail, and distance Reiki reaches any Wylie home, from the original town blocks to the newest suburban streets.
Downtown Wylie along Ballard Avenue keeps a walkable Main Street feel, and it hosts both the Championship Rodeo and Bluegrass on Ballard. Long before its suburban boom, Wylie was a small railroad farm town that proudly proclaimed itself the Onion Capital of the World. Today the city anchors itself on Lavon Lake and on the North Texas Municipal Water District, two fixtures woven into Wylie's modern identity. For Wylie residents working with flower essences, that mix of farm history, bluegrass, rodeo and lake water offers a grounding backdrop for reflection at home. Rev. Michael Allison sends essences and distance Reiki attunements to Wylie, so that reflection can happen right where this history lives.
