Flower Essence Therapy & Reiki in Chesterfield Township

Remote Reiki sessions and personalized flower essences for Chesterfield Township, reaching homes from the Gratiot corridor down to the Anchor Bay shoreline.

A shoreline township of nine unincorporated communities, where the season on the water sets the pace and the quiet arrives when the boats come in.

Anchor Bay is shallow and warms early, which is why the docks and marinas along the southeast edge fill from spring onward. Brandenburg Park’s fishing pier runs 530 feet out over that water. A session held at a distance keeps to your own hours instead of the launch schedule, and essence blends are posted from Michigan.

People were working this shoreline long before the township existed. French explorers and missionaries reached the area as early as 1611 and named Lake St. Clair on August 12, 1687. French settlers boiled salt from the local springs as a trade commodity and called the place La Saline, a name the Salt River still carries across the township, and they laid out the narrow strip farms typical of French agriculture. Two of the last Native American reserves in southeastern Michigan sat within Chesterfield, the Swan Creek people among the last to leave.

William Wampler surveyed Chesterfield in 1818. The Michigan Legislature established it as a general law township in 1842, formed out of Macomb Township and named for an English lord, and it became a charter township in 1989. The 2020 census counted 45,376 people across 30.6 square miles, living in nine unincorporated communities with not one incorporated village among them.

The Anchor Bay name is what holds that together. The chamber of commerce, the school district and the Anchor Bay Gardens, Anchor Bay Harbor and Anchor Bay Shores neighborhoods all carry it. Anchor Bay School District teaches 5,334 students across eleven facilities and also serves New Baltimore and parts of Casco, Ira and Lenox townships.

Brandenburg Park at 50050 Jefferson Avenue holds a 530-foot fishing pier, boat launches, a soft-shore kayak launch, an inclusive playground, a splash pad, and sand volleyball, pickleball, basketball and tennis courts. The Chesterfield Township Historical Village at 47275 Sugarbush keeps the Weller one-room schoolhouse, moved from 22 Mile and Gratiot in 1996, along with a log cabin, a cobbler's shop, a blacksmith shop and the Kolping Chapel added in 2016.
