Fullerton is a north Orange County city that grew from a railroad and Valencia-orange town into a college and manufacturing hub. Its lively, walkable downtown gives the city a strong sense of center, and manufacturing shapes its working identity. Fullerton carries the nickname The Education Community, earned through its cluster of colleges and the learning life around them.
Fullerton keeps a busy rhythm of college and manufacturing work, so a session by distance fits around a full day. A Fullerton resident can settle in at home, away from the lively downtown streets, and receive the work in quiet.
Fullerton's story runs from railroad and Valencia-orange roots to the town where Leo Fender perfected the first commercially successful solid-body electric guitars. That guitar-making legacy earned Fullerton the nickname Birthplace of the solid-body electric guitar, a title residents can claim with real pride. In the late 1970s, a wave of punk bands, including Social Distortion and the Adolescents, got their start in Fullerton. The historic Fox Theatre anchors the downtown, where that musical past still feels close at hand. Rev. Michael Allison serves this city entirely by distance, with no office and no in-person meeting.
