Celestial Resonance Soundbath Journey | Shelby Township, MI
Celestial Resonance is an evening sound bath with Rev. Michael Allison on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at SkinOnyx, 48546 Van Dyke Avenue in Shelby Township. The room is set for fourteen guests: seven resting on the floor and seven in chairs. You choose your spot when you book, and every ticket is $45.
For two hours your only job is to listen. There is no lesson, no chanting, no movement and no sharing circle. Michael plays every instrument live from the moment the room settles until the last tone fades.
Why it is called Celestial Resonance
When a crystal bowl rings, nearby bowls pick up the vibration and start to sing along with it. That sympathetic ringing is resonance, and with several bowls in one space the whole room begins to hum. The title is about that sound. The session follows no moon phase, zodiac sign or astrological calendar.
The evening moves in three parts. It opens slow and low, giving everyone time to let the day go. The middle stretch is the quietest point of the night. In the closing stretch brighter tones return and the pitch rises, so guests are brought back gradually instead of being left in the deep end.
What Michael plays, and what each piece adds
All of the sound is made in the room on the night. No tracks are played, and the order of instruments shifts to suit the people who show up, so no two evenings sound alike.
- Crystal singing bowls. The core of the evening. Michael layers several bowls at once, starting a new tone before the last one has faded, so the sound reads as one long wave instead of a string of separate notes.
- Native flutes. A melody carried on breath, laid over the bowls. While the bowls hold a steady base, the flute line wanders and leads the opening part of the night downward.
- Steel tongue drum. Clear, chiming notes made by striking metal tongues. When the drum comes in, the evening is turning toward its close, which is a handy cue if your eyes are shut.
- Quantum Balance Crystals. Arranged around the space before anyone arrives and left in place all evening. They are part of the setting, not something that gets played.
- Pleiadian Cosmic Healing Discs. Laid out with the crystals as part of the same setup, and likewise part of the room rather than the music.
- Reiki. Michael offers Reiki to the whole group during the hushed middle section. Nothing is asked of you to take part, and listening quietly is all it takes.
- Aura cleansing sprays. Prismatic blends its own sprays. A light mist is passed through the room at the start of the night and again near the end. Tell Michael when you arrive if you would like him to skip your spot.
The evening, start to finish
Plan to walk in a little before 6:30. That leaves time to pick from the fourteen spots, set down your bag, and arrange a blanket or cushion before the lights go down.
The opening part runs longest. Flutes and bowls lead it, the room stays dim, and it gets still enough that small sounds in the building become noticeable.
Next comes the quiet center of the evening, where Reiki is offered and very little else happens. Some guests stay alert through it and some drift off. Either is perfectly normal.
For the close, the steel tongue drum and higher bowls return and the tones climb. Michael keeps the final minutes slow on purpose so no one goes straight from lying flat to the car. Give yourself an unhurried exit and a quiet drive home.
Floor or chair: pick the one that suits your body
Seven floor spots are for guests who want to lie down for the full two hours. If you book a floor spot, bring a yoga mat and a pillow to lie on. Seven chairs are for anyone who would rather stay off the floor.
A chair ticket is a full ticket. Same $45, same room, same sound, because the tones reach you just as well sitting as lying. Guests choose chairs for all kinds of reasons: back, hip or knee trouble, pregnancy, a recent operation, reflux, or simply finding the floor uncomfortable after a while.
Not sure which to choose? Go with whichever lets you stay comfortable and still the longest. Stillness does most of the work in a sound bath, and someone shifting around on a mat all night gets less from it than they would sitting calmly in a chair.
With seven of each, there are fourteen tickets in all. The two options sell separately, so one can fill while the other still has room. Book the option you prefer first.
Dress and packing list
- Relaxed clothes. You will barely move for two hours, so wear soft, loose clothing with nothing tight at the waist or neck.
- A notebook and pen. Many guests like to jot down thoughts right as the room comes back to normal, while they are still fresh.
- A yoga mat and a pillow, if you book a floor spot. Floor guests bring their own yoga mat and a pillow to lie down on for the two hours. A blanket on top is welcome. Chair guests often bring a small cushion too.
- A water bottle. Handy after two quiet hours indoors.
- A warm layer. Bodies cool off when they rest. A sweater or wrap to pull over yourself is the item guests most often wish they had packed.
Optional add-on: Archangel Michael Aura Spray
When you check out, you can add Archangel Michael Aura Spray (4 oz.) for $37. It goes on the same order as your ticket and is handed to you at the event. Prismatic makes it with Angelica essential oil, Blue Sapphire gem essence, Angel Essence and Color Light Elixir, and it takes its name from Archangel Michael, the angel long linked with protection.
There is no pressure to add it. Your $45 ticket covers the evening, and nothing is offered for sale during the session itself.

Frequently asked questions
What happens at a sound bath?
You rest, either lying down or seated, while live instruments are played around you. There are no steps to follow and no way to do it wrong. "Bath" just means being immersed in sound. No water is involved.
Is this an astrology event?
No. "Celestial Resonance" refers to the way the instruments ring together. The session follows no moon phase, zodiac sign or astrological date, and no readings are given.
What if lying on the floor is hard for me?
Choose one of the seven chair tickets. They are there for exactly that reason and cost the same $45. Back, hip or knee concerns, pregnancy and recent surgery are all common reasons to sit, and no one will ask.
What is the best thing to wear?
Loose, comfortable clothes you can rest in for two hours, plus a warm layer. You cool down when you are still, and feeling chilly is what most often keeps people from relaxing.
What should I pack?
If you booked a floor spot, a yoga mat and a pillow to lie down on. Everyone else: a notebook and pen for afterward, a blanket if you want extra warmth, and a water bottle.
How loud does it get?
Not loud. Nothing is amplified, and the volume stays around the level of a quiet conversation. Bowls can feel strong up close, so if you are sound-sensitive, pick a spot farther from the instruments and mention it to Michael when you arrive.
What if I arrive late or need to leave early?
Please be there before 6:30 so you are settled when the music begins, since a late entrance stands out in a quiet room. If you must leave before 8:30, take a chair near the door and let Michael know at check-in so your exit is planned.
Can I come if I am pregnant or have limited mobility?
The seven chair spots let anyone who cannot lie flat still take part. For pregnancy or any health condition, ask your own clinician and decide for yourself. Prismatic is not qualified to make that decision for you and will not try.
How big is the group?
Fourteen guests plus Michael: seven on the floor and seven in chairs. That is as many spots as the room comfortably holds.
Where exactly is the venue?
SkinOnyx (Kleraderm USA), 48546 Van Dyke Avenue, Shelby Township, MI 48317, in Macomb County.
How much are tickets, and are they refundable?
Every ticket is $45, whether you choose the floor or a chair. Tickets are non-refundable, so double-check your calendar before you buy.
What is the optional add-on?
Archangel Michael Aura Spray (4 oz.) for $37, added at checkout on the same order as your ticket. It is optional. The $45 ticket is the only required cost.
Do I need to have done a sound bath before?
No. First-timers are common, and there is nothing to learn or prepare before you arrive.
Does Prismatic make health claims about this event?
No. Prismatic Flower Essences presents sound baths as a rest practice and a tradition. Nothing here is medical advice, it makes no health claims, and no result is promised.
